Draft — not legally binding
This page is a placeholder so the app has somewhere to link. It has not been written or reviewed by a solicitor and does not yet describe how AfroYege actually handles your data or your orders. Do not rely on it.
Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 August 2026
These terms will govern your use of AfroYege — the errand shopping service connecting customers with runners across the UK.
What this will cover
The final version of this page needs to set out, at minimum:
- Who AfroYege is, and that we connect customers with runners rather than selling goods ourselves.
- What a customer is agreeing to when they place an errand — the spending limit, substitution preferences, and how the final amount is settled.
- What a runner is agreeing to — verification requirements, conduct, and that they shop as an independent contractor, not an employee.
- Payment: when a card is pre-authorised, when it is charged, and how overspend is handled.
- Cancellations, refunds, and disputes, including the timeframes involved.
- Age requirements — runners must be 18 or over.
- Liability limits, and the fact that UK consumer rights are not affected by anything here.
- Governing law and jurisdiction (England and Wales).
